Total Basketball is an online basketball shop, founded in May 2005 by Ivo Boom and Martijn Luykx. In the past year, the company has grown into a leading and dynamic store for the basketball player in the Netherlands and Belgium. We are also the supplier for many basketball clubs.

Why a basketball store?

You have a certain need for a product and you do not know exactly how to fulfill this need. Call, shopping networks, not help, the product until you finally have found after many wanderings. And then sold out, not the right model, or indeed not in your size. So many athletes feel like they are looking for basketball shoes and other items.

Many basketball players in the Netherlands and Belgium are facing this problem. There is little choice in terms of range, the shoes are often very expensive, few providers in terms of quantity and the biggest problem is quite the size. Have you finally found a model that you like, then your size shoe is not available. Basketball player with a size 45 and bigger is not an unknown phenomenon. The focus of BasketballTotal?

We aim to serve both the basketball individual but also provide products for basketball clubs and associations.
To this end, we offer a great range of clothing, accessories and other basketball items for both men and women.

We supply superb quality club uniforms, but also items like training balls, dribbel glasses, plates and coach instruction DVDs for the coach or player.

At BasketballTotal, we try to establish partnerships with basketball clubs and sports federations to ensure a great service is provided.

Passion for Basketball

The passion for the game of basketball began very early for both our founders. The founders of BasketballTotal are two friends who started their friendship all the way back at youth training with BS Leiden.

Ivo Boom's focus is on coaching. He is currently head coach of the Premiership team Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden.

Martijn Luykx is more focused on the administrative level. After several years as Teammanager, he joined the board of BS Leiden and focused mainly on the technical policy. He is closely involved in the creation of the Premiership team in Leiden, where he is currently also a board member.
